Lessee: we were a) just managing to tread water on ad sales and b) really, really, really tired. There was some money on the table at one point from some pockets of respectable depth, but that never really ended up going anywhere, and it was time to figure out if we wanted to push it or chuck it, and because we were really, really, really tired, we chucked it. But! Two and a half years and we went down in the black. That&#039;s not a bad run at all in the magazine business.
