Awesome.

And that pie is such a crowd pleaser, especially this time of year.

Ha! That's so neat! The mushroom pie recipe I love I got from the newspaper when I lived in the SF Bay Area, and that recipe was reprinted from...Sundays at Moosewood.
I made mushroom pie today, and damn if it wasn't my best one ever. So incredibly good.

1) I know! the Coen Brothers are all emotion for me, partly what impresses me about them. That and the fact they can continue to produce such wonderful movies that are so distinct from one another.

2) Mushroom pie--no, no red wine went in though red wine and mushrooms are always a winner! It's a great recipe from Sundays at Moosewood Restaurant, my all time favorite cookbook. Tonight I'll be making the Autumn Gold Squash Soup found in the New England section (mmm... butternut squash).

1: Coen brothers movies have no heart? How can anyone watch Raising Arizona and think that? (Disclosure: I always bawl like a baby at the end.)
It was the Coen brothers who taught me to be fearless, absurd and wise-assed in using visual metaphor.

2: Mushroom pie. Mmmmm. You DID put some of the red wine in, yes?
Man, now I want mushroom pie BAD.
